Carl Friedrichs, MD

     I have been practicing medicine in Santa Fe, New Mexico since 1996.  I graduated from medical school at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, and am board-certified in Family Medicine.  I enjoy skiing, hiking, camping and fishing. Special professional interests include family centered obstetrics, computers and medicine, and addiction and substance abuse.   I personally view health as not just the absence of disease, but the presence of physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual health.

Caroline Kingston, MD, MPH

     Dr. Kingston has been practicing medicine in Santa Fe since 1998. After her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin, where she and Dr. Friedrichs were friends and study partners she received her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio, and her master's degree in public health from the UT Medical School at Houston.  Dr. Kingston completed her specialty training in Family Practice at the University of New Mexico at Albuquerque.  She and her husband have two young children at home who keep them very busy.  Dr. Kingston's special professional interests include family centered obstetrics and women's health care.  She practices medicine with an emphasis on the entire person and their family, not merely the disease process.

Bonnie Giacchetti, PA-C

     I began my medical professional career as a Medical Technologist, and later managed the Chemistry Department at St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago, my hometown.  The University of Illinois provided my initial education, and I subsequently graduated from the Western Michigan University Physician Assistant program.  After two visits with my sister in Santa Fe, I returned to the “Windy City”, gave away my winter coat and my snow shovel, and headed back West!  My favorite free time activities include horseback riding, communing with nature and enjoying a good book. Special medical interests include Family Practice, Dermatology, Surgery, and educating patients in preventative medicine.

Heather Neil, PA-C

     Heather Neil is a new Physician Assistant.  She graduated from the University of St. Francis with a Master’s of Health Sciences in April, 2003.  Before pursuing these studies, she was a medical assistant for Dr. Friedrichs.  Heather grew up in the Santa Fe area, as well as in California. Her undergraduate studies were in Sociology, History and Psychology at the University of Santa Barbara.  She and her husband have lived in Santa Fe since 1995.
